Joy's Teaching Philosophy:
Anyone can learn to sing! With Joy’s diverse experience and encouraging style, a student will improve his/her ability to sing as well as perform. Each lesson will be tailored to the needs of the student and will focus on warming up the body, vocal scales, breathing exercises, and performance. Musical selections will be chosen to target areas needing improvement.

Special focus is placed on:

  • Breathing support and control

  • Resonation

  • Diction and articulation

  • Increasing vocal range

  • Interpretation of music

  • Body alignment

  • Vocal stamina

Rates - Private Lessons:
$40 per 30 minute lesson; $60 per 55 minute lesson
